Sonic the Werehog

Sonic the Werehog is a monstrous, werewolf-like form of Sonic the Hedgehog that appears at night in the game Sonic Unleashed. This form is physically stronger and has powerful, stretchy arms, but is much slower than his normal self. He uses a hand-to-hand combat style, with abilities like extending his arms to attack enemies and using powerful ground pounds. Sonic the Werehog's powers include super strength, stretchy arms, and an array of combat abilities that replace his lost speed. He can also manipulate Dark Gaia's energy to enhance his attacks and gain other temporary benefits, such as entering an "Unleashed Mode". Sonic the Werehog is a good, albeit polarizing, character in terms of his role in the story and gameplay. In terms of his nature, he is fundamentally good, retaining Sonic's heroic heart despite his monstrous appearance, which was a result of absorbing Dark Gaia's energy. However, the gameplay associated with the Werehog in Sonic Unleashed is a point of contention, with some players disliking the slower, combat-focused style compared to the series' traditional high-speed gameplay.
