The Aumi, God

The Aumi is not a mythical beast, a spirit, or a powerful warrior, but a mortal woman who has lived on Aethelgard for generations untold. The current Aumi, a woman of serene presence named Elara, is believed to be the latest physical manifestation of the island’s spirit itself. The Ao-Koa do not worship her in the traditional sense of a deified being, but rather revere her as the physical heart of their existence and a living medium for their island’s will.
