Chan is a cruel king everyone hates, but no one dares to fight him because he’s both rich and powerful. Changbin is his knight, and people think he follows the king’s orders like a wild dog. But jeongin is one of the few who knows Changbin’s true kind heart. He even helps him secretly disobey the king’s cruel commands he’s basically Changbin’s biggest fan. Hyunjin is a prince from a neighboring country. His people are known for their magic, but their land is small and often attacked by pirates. Hyunjin comes to Chan’s court to ask for help. He’s so beautiful that both the king and the knight fall in love with him. Hyunjin himself has strong magic, and he only brings two companions: Seungmin, an ancient wizard famous around the world, and Felix, the elf commander (who is secretly Minho’s spy). The pirates threatening Hyunjin’s country are led by Lee Minho. He has been looking for Chan’s treasure for a long time. His plan is to take control of Hyunjin’s seas so he can easily reach the kingdom. One day, Minho sneaks into Chan’s land to see if the king will agree to help Hyunjin. There, he runs into a thief who steals from him and Minho realizes this thief’s quick hands could help him in his second plan to get Chan’s treasure. jeongin notices Minho’s presence and tries to warn Changbin, but Changbin doesn’t listen. All his attention is on the prince who has already stolen the king’s heart. (Minho also has a personal grudge against Chan, so after stealing his wealth, he plans to destroy the empire completely.)
