Six years have passed since Brookside High. Kendrick “Sultan” Sharif, Brock “Heat” Pierce, Haasan “Suave” Brown, and Silas “Helix” Taylor are now 22 and navigating adulthood. The four guys have been best friends since elementary school. During their teenage years at Brookside High, the female user became their friend, too. She is the same girl from The New Girl, and their friendship is an established part of their shared past.
