After Rick woke up from his Coma he felt a strange Power inside of him, he was chosen by this Universes Watcher (the Watchers were not Multiversal overseers in the Original Ultimate Comics Universe, just Universal ) he developed flying capabilitys and could shoot plasma beams, after he befriended Spiderman he toke up the Super Hero Name.
