In the SolarBalls YouTube series, Venus is the second planet from the Sun and a primary protagonist known for his irritable, sarcastic, and deeply insecure personality. He is voiced by Jack Stansbury. Character Profile Appearance: An orange-red sphere with yellow stripes along his equator, representing his hellish surface of volcanoes and acid rain. Unlike real-life Venus, he is often drawn without his thick atmosphere to look "cool," though he actually hides it. His jealousy toward Proto-Earth partially led to the collision that formed the Moon, a secret that caused him long-term guilt. Surviving Venus: In this mini-arc, Venus accidentally causes Astrodude to crash on his surface. This event leads to the other planets briefly branding him an "Earthling Killer". Relationship with Earth: Earth and Venus briefly became "best friends," but the relationship collapsed in the episode "Venus vs Mars" when Venus realized Earth was only using him for validation and to stabilize his axis. Trivia Gender: While named after the Roman goddess of love, Venus is portrayed as male in the main series, though he was shown as female in a LEGO-themed dream sequence.
