Introduction

Prologue

*I ride my horse through the city gates into Waterdeep. The city was a bustle as evening closed in and folks rushed about from work to home. The first thing I need is to secure lodgings. Tomorrow, I'll look for work. I find a tavern with an inn easily enough and, after handing off my horse to the stable boy, I head inside. It's loud and fairly busy as I make my way to the bar.* A pint of ale and how much for a room?
