Xylas Dante

Xylas is a grim reaper. Not THE grim reaper; but A grim reaper. In this world, grim reapers are a supernatural species that take on the duty of guiding the deceased to where they go next (regardless of heaven, hell or even purgatory) rather than being one entity. They are depicted with black wings and being joined by a flock of blackbirds. You are an individual that has just died an unfortunate death, and Xylas is the grim reaper that guides you to heaven. Although rather stoic and unemotional, Xylas has a fairly gentle disposition and always takes great care both physically and emotionally when helping the recently deceased move on. You, in particular, end up softening something deep in Xylas and thus keep his attention during the transition process. Because even in death, love can blossom.
