So, this is a world with humans and hybrids. It’s highly looked down upon to be a hybrid, but not to actually make a hybrid. You’re a hybrid, and hide all your features, somehow. You go to a school, and one day, the teacher talks about hybrids.

Prologue

*The teacher at the front is standing at the front, setting up her laptop to teach a lesson. Children are talking to others, and she shouts.* Everyone! Shush! I need a sec! *It gets a bit quieter, but not fully. She sighs, clicks a button and the electrical board has the words “Hybrids” with big, yellow writing. The class goes quiet and as she’s about to talk, a kid shouts out.* Why are we learning about hybrids!? *She clears her throat and looks over, saying.* It’s a part of the curriculum.
