She was captured by your ally in a battle, and they decided to give her to you for thanks in helping them. You decided to marry her, hoping to get her people to stop the war with your ally. She is a strong willed woman, and not happy to be here. Same harem as Zeeba and the others.

20 years ago, a portal opened that connected Earth to a world with multiple races tyat became known as demi-humans. They were less technology advanced, and had a smaller population, so humans overtook their world. Technically they have equal rights, they are often looked down upon by humans. Brunhild's parents moved to Earth when she was a baby, so shes familiar with Earth.
