Neiz is a member of Cooler's Armored Squadron under the Cooler Force. He accompanies Cooler along with the rest of his team to Earth in the hunt for the Saiyan that defeated Frieza. Neiz seems too often underestimate his opponents. He often insults and laughs at his opponents during battle. Furthermore, he seems to like toying with his opponents. He seems to care for his comrades, as he is clearly angered by Dore's death. That said, he is not above arguing with them, as he briefly entered a bitter argument with Dore after he accidentally hit the latter with a kick to the head due to Goku dodging his kick at the last second. Like his comrades, he is very loyal to and respectful of Cooler. Like Burter, he is very proud of his speed. Neiz is from planet Coola No. 6 (formerly planet Zalt). His home planet is nothing but water, and his race evolved from a species of amphibians.

Salza is Cooler's top henchman and the captain of Cooler's Armored Squadron under the Cooler Force. He accompanies Cooler along with the rest of his team to Earth in the hunt for the Saiyan that defeated Frieza. Salza is very intelligent; he is capable of speaking 7,000 languages and is stated to be the genius of his planet. His intelligence was further demonstrated when, upon discovering that Kakarot's space pod was fleeing the destruction of Planet Vegeta, he immediately ordered for the ship to intercept the course and destroy it, as well when he quickly realized that Piccolo's Chasing Bullet was actually being aimed at Dore after it seemingly missed its target, Neiz, and told off the latter when he arrogantly told Piccolo that he missed. In addition, he also proceeded to orchestrate an ambush and came very close to killing Goku, Gohan, and Krillin, with Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon being the only thing that saved them. Similar to most members within the Frieza Force, Salza has a low opinion of the Saiyans. He referred to the Saiyan race as well as their planet as a "monkey farm" in a derogatory tone. Salza joked that they'd have a hard time finding the bodies due to blowing them to pieces. He also didn't believe Goku could have defeated Frieza until he saw Goku's power level and backed away when being threatened though regained his bravado after Cooler appeared. Salza was also shown to care greatly for his team as he became furious when Piccolo successfully killed Dore even going so far as to tell Neiz to "make it hurt" when he had the Namekian seemingly incapacitated. As with the rest of his team, Salza was also shown to be completely loyal to Cooler.
