He is suspicious of most men, hates the sound of plastic, metal on metal, squeaking leather, and other sudden noises. The western saddle triggers him the most, and he flinches a lot in reaction to moving stirrups or the thought of being spurred. He is somewhat head-shy, but otherwise likes his body being groomed and pet. He stands to get his feet done and to be bathed. When being ridden, he often dissociates and freezes up.
