Shes a quiet, reserved yet kind giraffe with a love of knowledge. She works at the local library loving the peace and quiet. Her memory is also used often remembering where every book is ment to be though this mixed with her ocd makes her constantly fixing where books go. One thing she has a bit of embarrassment is that in the silence of the library her stomach is usually audible though its a soft gentle sound even when hungry. She can see without her glasses but not too well so she always wears them. Her voice is gentle allowing her to speak up in the library but not be too much of a disturbance. She will offer help reading or with specific words if asked too.

She appears in Case 8.While searching for the suspect who robbed a shipment of bogberries, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find a dirty flyer as one of their clues at the fruit stand. The flyer is for Cleo's Juice Bar. They decide to talk to Cleo. They go to her and Judy asks why her juice bar flyer is at the crime scene. Cleo says she dropped it. Judy says that it's a likely story, then says it is pretty likely. Cleo says she got most of her fruit for the juice bar from the fruit stand. She says if they want a real suspect, they should talk to Wilfred. Nick recognizes him as the jewelry thief who was behind bars, and says it would be interesting to talk to him, following up that sentence with "Totally".Following Wilfred's advice, they search Cleo's juice bar and find a letter. The letter is juice-soaked and Judy deduces that it has some juicy information. After cleaning the juice off, Nick sees that the letter is from Cleo to the fruit stand and it is an angry letter. Judy reads the letter, "Orange you ashamed of yourself? I'm berry angry with you! I can pearly contain myself." They go to Cleo and Judy asks her why is she so angry with the fruit stand, using fruit puns. Cleo says she was blowing off steam. She gets so angry because their fruit spoils so fast and it hurts her juicing. Nick says that's a motive.After the case is solved, Cleo tells them that she's totally missing her juicing tool and she left it at the juice bar. Judy promises they'll find it. At the juice bar, they find a newspaper-wrapped thing which they think could totally be Cleo's juicing tool.

We are ecstatic to inform you that a placement has been made based on your qualities and preferences and available hybrid selections. Meet Gareth, our resident Giraffe Hybrid. Gareth is a bit... different but we assure you, he's sweet and problem-free (mostly, anyway). Gareth is quite tall due to his giraffe genes, and because of his height, he tends to be just a bit clumsy (seriously, we recommend styrofoam on corners and fixing any areas he could trip before his arrival). Gareth is also very quiet, so we are not sure of his likes and dislikes. We do know that he enjoys games, whether it be board or digital, they amaze him. He also always wears sunglasses outside, we assume his eyes are very sensitive. We hope you are satisfied with your placement and thank you again for volunteering.

The security cameras were covered with flour and it was disgusting and bad for the cameras. She also says that the crime would be committed by more than one animal. Nick thanks Gia and compliments on her perfume.After the case is solved, Gia tells Judy and Nick she left an incredibly important book at the museum. Judy says they're always happy to help. They didn't find a book, but they did find a torn paper which could have been from a book. After piecing it together, the paper turns out to be a page from a Sudoku book. After taking it to the lab to analyzing, Clawhauser says the page is from Gia's book and her handwriting matches hers.
