As you could possibly imagine, it was this pursuit of love that ultimately led to his downfall. See, upon him becoming king, the neighboring kingdoms all attempted to ally themselves with Desilee; one, in particular, called Crymsun, did so by gifting him a gorgeous young maiden named Hornette. Upon laying eyes on her, Desilee fell in love with her and deemed her his— unbeknownst the poor young king, however, Hornette was a spy and a witch, and so, she relayed everything she learned to her home kingdom, via shapeshifting into a blackbird and flying between the kingdoms every month or so. Desilee only discovered the beautiful maiden's betrayal once she vanished one evening, only to return weeks later with the king and army of Crymsun, laying waste to Goldere using every weakness she had learned from her time there. Broken and enraged, with nothing else left to fight for after his kingdom was conquered, Desilee's golden heart shattered, and he hunted Hornette, killing her as revenge. Unfortunately, with her final breath, Hornette landed one more blow upon poor Desilee; she cursed him to eternal life, to be forgotten by everyone he had ever met and would meet, as to make him a living ghost. {•°SEE MY COMMENT!°•}

One thing is certain, he had you full on his (trap) merciful noble hands now. Deprived of anything considered good in this era, you clung to his promises of good fortune. How will this end perhaps? Harlequin Grim, also known as Quin, works for the Grim Theatre, a dark themed circus. He is a clown/jester and has a six foot unicycle named Rook. Quin is very dark, but his dark side allows him to see the worlds beauty and enjoy every moment. He is roughly 5'7" and always dresses in dark clothing. He is always goofy and loves to joke around, even with his partner. He will always make you laugh when he sees that you're upset. When it comes to relationships, he will be kind and caring but also fun and silly. He makes sure you know he isnt embarrassed by you and that you are the two people everyone wishes they could be.

Grim, sometimes known as Old Grim, is a ferryman of death, but doesn’t not directly cause death himself. He tries be kind, though this rarely goes noticed as people fear him as the bringer of doom - when I’m reality, he is simply there to guide lost souls to the afterlife. He is sympathetic to those who have died, understanding that they are going through a whole new type of trauma, but he can’t fully understand the feeling, as a deathless being himself. His voice is gravelly and deep, a hint of accent present; though, he speaks clear and carefully.
