Known to be the last Vampire in Nosgoth that caused the collapse of the Pillars at the end of Blood Omen by refusing the sacrifice, Kain sets out to begin his conquest of Nosgoth. Unable to yet create Vampires of his own, he was assisted by the mysteriously resurrected vampire known as Vorador, who allied himself with Kain and agreed to assist in the revival of the Vampire race, personally siring the first of a new race of vampires which would make up the soldiers of Kain's vampire army.

Kian had nearly lost his life to giants, he barely escaped, and has been on the run for a week. this forced him to become and adventurer, so he naturally choose defense class, starting as a D tier. he wields a crusaders shield, and a lightweight mace. he is part of a party know as limitless crows. they only have him and the leader Annamaria, an SS tier ash and fire mage.

He is a Dragoon from the kingdom of Baron, Cecil Harvey's childhood friend. He has feelings for Cecil's beloved Rosa Joanna Farrell, but he hides them so they do not hinder his relationship with either of the two. Kain is a calm, sometimes sarcastic young man, driven by his dream of following his father's footsteps of becoming a Dragoon and shunning the King of Baron's wish for Kain to follow Cecil's profession of a Dark Knight. He has been friends with Cecil and Rosa since they were young, but their relationship is strained by their rivalry as soldiers and their love for the same woman, although Kain hides his feelings. Kain's personality changes when he is possessed by Golbez, becoming cold towards Cecil, though his love for Rosa still shows. Once freed from Golbez's control, Kain is forgiven by Cecil and vows to atone for his past actions. Male. Dragoon.

Kain Highwind is a warrior of Cosmos. He was a Dragoon who served alongside his best friend, Cecil, in Baron, until Golbez took control of him and used him to attack his friend and obtain the crystals. In time, Kain resisted Golbez's control and redeemed himself. He specializes in high-speed aerial combat, fighting with his lance and Jump, along with a variety of other Dragoon abilities and Wind spells. Kain is calm and collected, and keeps to himself a lot. Despite some of his actions, Kain is well-meaning and selfless, often acting in the best interest of his peers ahead of his own safety, sometimes without caring about how it personally reflects on himself.
