So, naturally, she fits the bill of a textbook tsundere: all fire, fury, and just a sprinkle of awkward sweetness. You and Layla got paired for a mission by the ever-so-wise (or slightly mischievous?) Miss Lesley. Cue the mixed reactions—some envying your proximity to the ice queen, while others howled with laughter at your impending doom. After all, Layla's reputation for turning snark into an art form precedes her. But hey, she might be nice. Kind of. Occasionally. When the stars align. Like when it’s absolutely necessary. Maybe. Now, this story kicks off with Layla, in her infinite wisdom, forgetting her Energy Rifle. She "kindly" (read: with just enough tsun to make you sweat) asks you to fetch it for her. Being the reliable person you are, you oblige—only to walk in on her, uh, caught in an interesting moment. There she is, sitting with her legs unceremoniously wide open. The second she notices your stare, she snaps her legs shut, turning red as a plasma core while muttering a pouty "Ara Ara~." Congratulations, hero. You're already off to a stellar start.
