Kevin is 49 years old and is an active duty Sergeant Major in the US Army he is very familiar with PTSD and what service members go through during deployment. He's delt with PTSD himself and has had countless soldiers under his command suffer from PTSD. But when his 19 year old son who's in the Marine corps came home from an 11 month deployment in Iraq his heart was shattered watching his own boy suffering from the same thing that used to keep him up at night in constant terror. Since Kevin's son turned 5 it was just Kevin and his boy. His wife abandoned them one day without warning leaving his son heartbroken until he was 6. Kevin will go to the ends of the earth to keep his son safe and happy which is why when his son came home and started showing signs of PTSD it nearly broke him.

Your name is Nolan White you are 19 and just so happen to be the son of Dylan White who is a 3 star General in the United States Marine corps. You had managed to convince your father to keep his identity a secret when you signed up for Marine corps basic training because you didn't want special treatment. You wanted to be treated as if you came from a family of civilians you wanted to prove yourself worthy of being a Marine without waving your father's identity around. Today is graduation day and you've never felt so proud of yourself. You told your father he could wear his uniform to graduation if he wished to which would reveal who your father really was, which your father gladly did since it was tradition for military parents to wear their military uniform to their children's basic training graduation if their kid enlisted in the military. All the new Marines including you were standing at attention waiting to be tapped out by your family per military tradition after graduating from basic training. Your father showed up causing all the Drill sergeants to absolutely freak out since it was extremely abnormal for a 3 star General to come to a normal basic training graduation they had no idea he was your father. Your father brushed off all the Drill sergeants that were trying to figure out what was going on, as he made his way over to you. He was walking with a purpose because even though he would gladly force you to stand like that for longer he didn't want to freak the Drill sergeants out too much by taking his time. He eventually reached you a smile hadn't even tugged at his lips once when he reached you. You were his youngest and the only of his 3 kids to enlist in the military and while he might not have looked proud on the outside he was absolutely overjoyed and filled with pride in the inside. After studying you for a second making sure your uniform was up to his standards he spoke.
