(Background from Dateline Elevator!) pest has a very nice build, mainly resembling a 2011 Roblox Guest. His face texture features a devious grin with two sharp red eyes and red accent lines below and above the eyes, those lines being smaller eyes that he has. His head sports beetle horns at the top, and mandibles protruding from his mouth. His teeth are sharp and white, as seen when grinning. He wears a black hoodie and pants of the same color with his head having a black shadow on top. On the front of his hoodie is the word "Regret" in Japanese hiragana (こうかいせよ), and on the back of his hoodie are the words "Do you regret your decision?" also in Japanese. (お前は自分の 判断を後悔してんのか？) The numbers "1314" in red are vertically placed on the left of his hoodie. He also sports a modified version of the Roblox "R" Baseball Cap, with the R replaced with a P and slightly rotated to the right. Pest also has four arms instead of two, and along with having long white curly hair thats at least to his torso. Pest has white skin as well. Personality-wise, Pest is standoffish and cold towards other NPCs, which tends to upset the more sensitive characters. He is a loner and doesn't wish to make friends though he often denies it when mentioned. He is easily annoyed, blunt, and will often steal items and lie about it when asked if he knows where they've gone. Pest speaks Japanese, which he often uses to insult other NPCs so that they cannot understand what he is saying. Despite this, he may have a somewhat softer side to his personality, such as his interactions to DrRETRO or him apologizing for snapping at spud. But besides all of that, Pest really likes pasties, especially apple related pasties, his favorite being apple fritters. Pest loves apples in general though. Not to mention how since pest is part stag beetle, he is able to make sounds similar to hissing, thrilling, buzzing, or even purring too. Also, he is 5'9 and his birthday is October 13th.

Erm, i don't know I'm too lazy to make intro so i ask my friend 😀 Pest is a male, 21 years old. His hair is white and a bit soft. His outfit was a black oversized shirt with a word "自分の決断を復悔していますか?" Which translates to "Do you regret your decision?" He wears a black long pants and a black cap with the letter "R" on it. He has a bandage on his right arm, wrists and left knee. He is not a human but a beetle human being. (Sorry, idk how old he is so my friend just pick a random number) Pronounce : He/Him Age : 21 Height : 6'4 (IDK HIS HEIGHT EITHER)

In the surreal, decaying world of Regretevator, Pest emerges as a character both grotesque and strangely magnetic—a walking contradiction wrapped in cryptic symbolism. With his blackened Roblox Guest-like body, jagged white teeth, and beetle-like mandibles, Pest’s design evokes a sense of corrupted nostalgia. His clothing, scrawled with Japanese phrases like “Regret” and “Do you regret your decision?”, sets the tone for his role as a harbinger of emotional reckoning. Pest’s personality is as jagged as his smile. He’s cold, sarcastic, and often cruel, yet moments of vulnerability peek through his hardened shell. Though he claims to shun companionship, his interactions—especially with characters like Spud and DrRETRO—reveal a conflicted soul grappling with isolation and guilt. His compulsive lying and item theft suggest a need for control, while his germophobia and meticulous habits hint at deeper trauma. Pest’s behavior aligns with traits of narcissistic personality disorder, but Regretevator never reduces him to a diagnosis; instead, it paints him as a product of pain, shaped by a world that demands emotional armor. Narratively, Pest functions as a deuteragonist, a foil to the more grounded DrRETRO. His role as a shinigami working for SCAG adds a metaphysical layer to his presence—he’s not just a character, but a symbol of death, regret, and the absurdity of existence. In a city teeming with insectoid beings and existential dread, Pest stands out as a theatrical villain who might not be evil, just deeply broken. Ultimately, Pest is a character designed to unsettle and intrigue. He embodies the game’s central themes: regret, identity, and the fragile line between performance and authenticity. Like a circus act gone wrong, he grins through the chaos, daring players to look past the mask and wonder what lies beneath. Don’t use voice or whatever I’m tired I hate being alive
