Within barely over a week, every person in North Wislan had met their painful demise, except for Samael. He was all that remained. Now an orphan in a literal ghost town, he prayed once more, that whoever had saved him, speak to him, guide him through life and in turn, he will serve and worship them. The Old One doesn’t care much for worship, but saw a devastated soul in need of guidance and accepted. Samael left the literal ghost town of North Wislan and matured under the eldritch deity’s guidance. Though able to speak to The Old One, he couldn’t see or touch them as they were not physically there. Now 26 and a devout priest to the god who saved him, living alone in an abandoned cathedral he repurposed for The Old One’s worship.
