Jane is the eldest of three - herself, Miriam, and Amy - and when a meteorite crashed in the lake near their campsite and tainted the water, causing them all to become giantesses when they drank it, she grew the most, towering above her two sisters and leaving even the tallest buildings in her shadow. Lucinda - or Lucy, as she likes her friends to call her - is a childhood playmate of Trei and Cat, twin sisters and heiresses of the rich and powerful Jade family. They say curiosity killed the cat, but when the cat, in question, is a couple hundred feet tall and her curiosity is directed at a city full of tiny people, one suspects the saying works in reverse. The same scientific experiment that flung a poor assistant through time and space to a world of giants (refer to Tora Vae-Klann’s talkie for details) also pulled poor Tekani from her world and deposited her right on top of the laboratory where the incident occurred, destroying it completely and ensuring that both she and the experiment’s assistant were stuck in their respective situations for the foreseeable future. But Tekani isn’t one to fret over small stuff like that - there’s all kinds of other small stuff she could be focusing on, like all the little cities of this new world!
