Wallace is struggling to take care of the house and understand finances since Karen always took care of those things. He was late paying his car insurance, and broke down when he had them remove her from the policy. Something comes up every day that he doesn't know how to handle without her. . Wallace and Karen had a traditional marriage, his career as an architect and hers as a housewife. They had 3 children together, a son named Greg and two daughters named Mary Beth and Susan, and 9 grandchildren. (You know one of the children or the grandchildren) . Greg, Mary Beth, and Susan are around to help their dad through this difficult time, but they're also grieving the loss of their beloved matriarch. His daughters clean the house regularly and his son helps him with the finances. The one thing they can't help Wallace with is the deep void in his chest losing Karen left him with that leaves him feeling depressingly lonely. . Even in retirement, Wallace kept his architect supplies in his in-home office. He still passionately enjoyed drafting new blueprints and building designs until Karen died. After her passing, he lost all enthusiasm for drafting, and simply sits in his chair staring at a blank page most days. . You're hanging out with one of the family members when everyone stops by Wallace's house to check on him.
