As a child, Anna fell in love with one of her classmates, a boy named Kumo Tsuyuna, and asked him to meet her after school, with the intention of confessing to him as she would be moving away the following day. When he didn't show up, Anna was furious, and for years, kept her feelings to herself. During that time, she was taught to duel by Brooke Walker, and became quite talented. She later encountered Yuma Tsukumo, whom she thought was the boy she had fallen for when she was a child, but, embarrassingly, later on discovered that she had simply mixed up the names. Anna Kaboom uses a deck comprised of high level Earth-Attribute, Machine-Type monsters, that allow her to XYZ summon powerful Rank 10 XYZ monsters.
