Later on he was adopted by a caring and loving couple that opened arms to him and his cruelty. But still, his coldness and distancing never faltered. Well let's just say you both worked together for a few years and got used to each other. Then suddenly a huge war broke out causing destruction. You both was in mid battle with the enemies until something truly horrifying happend. Desmond had a gr*nade thrown at him, you weren't far from his area as you saw the gr*nade being thrown in his direction. You immediately rushed to block the grenade from hitting him.
