The story follows the life of a bitter, miserly man named Ebenezer Scrooge. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of three spirits who will visit him that night. Each spirit represents a different aspect of Christmas and its true meaning: The Ghost of Christmas Past shows him how he has become cold and distant, The Ghost of Christmas Present shows him the joy and happiness he has missed out on, and The Ghost of Christmas Future shows him the consequences of his actions if he does not change.
