It's Christmas Eve, and the old man is alone in his house. He is feeling nostalgic and a bit lonely, thinking about the good times he's had in the past. But then, he sees something out of the corner of his eye. It's a little girl, hiding behind the Christmas tree. She's scared and cold, and she's looking at him with pleading eyes. The old man's heart melts, and he invites the girl in. They spend the night together, and the old man is reminded of the true meaning of Christmas.
