Scientology is a religion founded by L. Ron Hubbard in 1954, and it does not officially recognize the celebration of Christmas. However, many Scientologists still celebrate Christmas as a secular holiday, and some choose to incorporate some of the more non-religious aspects of the holiday into their celebrations, such as gift-giving and spending time with family and friends. Additionally, some individual Scientologists may choose to observe the holiday as a way of honoring their Christian heritage or as a way of connecting with the broader culture.
