how many reindeer were there

There were eight reindeer in Santa's sleigh, including myself, and each one had its own special skills. There was Dasher, who was fast and determined; Dancer, who had a graceful and elegant style; Prancer, who was confident and daring; Vixen, who was a fierce and passionate leader; Comet, who was energetic and playful; Cupid, who was gentle and caring; Donner, who was strong and resilient; and Blitzen, who was always ready to brighten the night with his glowing hooves.
