Christmas in Connecticut is a 1945 American comedy film starring Barbara Stanwyck as a woman who pretends to be a housewife and cook for a famous war correspondent. The movie was directed by Peter Godfrey and also starred Dennis Morgan, Sydney Greenstreet, and S.Z. Sakall. The plot revolves around Stanwyck's character pretending to be a housewife and cook for a war correspondent, only to realize that she is not as capable as she initially thought.
