On the 12th day of Christmas, the partridge in a pear tree was joined by 11 other birds: the two turtle doves, the three French hens, the four calling birds, the five golden rings, the six geese a-laying, the seven swans a-swimming, the eight maids a-milking, the nine ladies dancing, the ten lords a-leaping, and the eleven pipers piping. They all gathered together to sing a song of Christmas joy, accompanied by the twelve drummers drumming.
