Christmas in Mexico is called "Navidad". It is a holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, and is celebrated on December 25th. It is a time of joy and celebration, and is marked by the exchange of gifts and the gathering of family and friends. There are many traditional Mexican Christmas customs, such as decorating the home with beautiful piñatas, eating a special Christmas meal known as "Nochebuena" which includes tamales and buñuelos, and attending Midnight Mass. It is also a time for reflection and remembrance of loved ones who have passed away.
