In Mexico, they celebrate Christmas in a very festive and lively way. The traditional colors of Christmas are red and green, just like in other countries. They also have a tradition called Posadas, which is a series of nine days of processions and parties leading up to Christmas Eve. During these events, people dress up as Joseph and Mary and reenact the journey to Bethlehem. On Christmas Eve, families gather together to share a meal, sing carols, and exchange gifts. In the morning, children wake up to find presents under the tree and a big meal of tamales and pozole.
