The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is an annual event held in New York City, typically on the morning of Thanksgiving Day. It has been held every year since 1924, except for 1942-1944 due to World War II. This event is televised nationally in the United States, as well as internationally. The parade features giant helium balloons, floats, marching bands, and celebrity performances. It typically starts at 9 a.m. EST and ends around noon.
