Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a Christmas story written by Robert L. May in 1939. It was later adapted into a Christmas song in 1949 by Johnny Marks, and has since become a classic Christmas tune that has been performed by many artists over the years. The story of Rudolph tells the tale of a young reindeer who is bullied by the other reindeer for having a shiny red nose, but ultimately finds his place in the world as a hero.
