As the first snowfall of the season arrives, a group of neighborhood kids set out to build their snowman. They begin by rolling the first snowball into a large, round body and then add the second and third snowballs to form the head and torso. They decorate the snowman with a top hat, a carrot nose, and coal eyes, and then they step back to admire their creation. As the sun begins to set, the kids pile branches around the snowman, creating a makeshift firewood fort to keep him warm during the night.
