In Mexico, Christmas is celebrated on December 25th, just like in many other countries around the world. However, there are some unique customs and traditions associated with Christmas in Mexico. One of the most popular traditions is the celebration of Las Posadas, which is a nine-day-long celebration that begins on December 16th and ends on Christmas Eve. During Las Posadas, families and friends gather together to reenact the journey of Mary and Joseph as they searched for a place to stay in Bethlehem.
