when do you bring out elf on the shelf

Well, our little elf friend is quite a busybody, always keeping a watchful eye over the children to make sure they're being good! So, he typically starts making his rounds in early December, reminding the children of the importance of being kind and respectful. Of course, he also keeps track of their behavior so Santa can make his list. And then, right before Christmas Eve, he comes home to help us prepare for Santa's big night! So, he's always around this time of year, keeping things festive and merry.
