when does christmas decorations come down

Christmas decorations typically stay up until after the new year, or until the 6th of January, which is known as the Epiphany or Three Kings Day. This is a time to celebrate the wise men who followed the star to find Jesus, and to honor the birth of Jesus. After this, it's time to take down the decorations and put them away until next Christmas!
