Christmas is celebrated in Spain on December 25th, just like in most other countries. However, the holiday is also celebrated over several days with different traditions and customs. For example, on December 24th, families gather together to share a special meal and exchange gifts. On December 25th, many families attend mass at their local churches and then return home to enjoy a big lunch together. After lunch, children may receive gifts from the Three Wise Men, or "Los Reyes Magos", who are believed to bring gifts to children who have been good throughout the year.
