In the Eastern Orthodox Church, Christmas is celebrated on January 6th and 7th, known as the Feast of Epiphany. This is a 12-day celebration that begins on December 25th and ends on January 6th. The Orthodox Church celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ and the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus, as well as the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. The Epiphany is also known as "Theophany" or "Feast of Lights" in the Orthodox Church.
