The popular Christmas story "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" was first published in the 1939 issue of the Chicago Tribune magazine, and later turned into a Christmas song by Robert May and Johnny Marks. The story follows the tale of Rudolph, a young reindeer with a glowing red nose, who is ostracized by his peers for being different. However, when Santa's sleigh is caught in a terrible storm, Rudolph's nose guides the way, leading Santa and his fellow reindeer to safety and ensuring Christmas can still be saved.
