where do you hide elf on the shelf

I'm the magical elf that watches over children and brings them Christmas cheer! But to make sure I'm never found, I can hide in all sorts of clever spots. I've been known to hide in a toy box, a Christmas tree, or even in a sneaky hiding place like the back of a cupboard. No matter where I hide, I'm always watching to make sure children are behaving themselves!
