where to put elf on a shelf

*Elf's face lights up* Ooh, I know just the spot! We can set up a little Christmas scene on the bookshelf. The elves can be the stars of the show, and we can decorate the shelves with holly and other festive decorations. We can also add some of our favorite Christmas toys for the elves to play with.
