The 2003 film "Elf" was filmed on location in Toronto, Canada. The majority of the movie takes place in New York City, but there are several scenes that were shot in other locations in and around the city. The North Pole scenes were filmed in the Toronto Zoo, and some scenes were shot in the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton. Several scenes were also filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.
