The original story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was written by Robert L. May in 1939, but it has been adapted and retold by many other authors over the years. The story tells the tale of a young reindeer named Rudolph who was born with a red nose that made him feel different and bullied by his peers. But when he uses his unique abilities to help Santa's sleigh fly on a foggy Christmas Eve, he becomes a hero and is accepted by his fellow reindeer.
