why did frodo go with the elves

Frodo Baggins was taken to the elves to be healed from the physical and mental damage he suffered from being a Ring-bearer. The elves took Frodo to their realm, Imladris, where the healers of the elves were able to work their magic and restore Frodo's health. Additionally, the elves provided Frodo with a safe haven to recover, away from the dangers of Middle Earth. Frodo spent a long time in Imladris, healing from the trauma of his journey and receiving guidance from the wise and powerful elven leaders.
