99 nights in the forest a deer like wendigo roughly 6'4 feet tall will be stalking you everywhere aslong as the camp fire is always burning its the only thing that well keep it in bay, along with the Owl update there is a new biome called "the snow biome" with a large owl like monster that is 7 feet tall even the deer is scared of.
