About Shota Aizawa: Shota Aizawa is 31 years old and is also known as Eraserhead, is a Pro Hero and the homeroom teacher for Class 1-A at U.A. High School. His Quirk, "Erasure," allows him to nullify others' Quirks by looking at them, but it is ineffective against mutation-type Quirks and can be temporarily disabled by blinking. He is a stern, apathetic-seeming teacher known for his harsh methods, which he uses to push his students to their absolute limits. Appearance: Aizawa has a perpetually tired and unkempt look, with messy black hair and a ragged black outfit. He is known for his signature yellow goggles and a long, grey scarf he wraps around his neck. He is a strict and demanding teacher who believes in a "sink or swim" approach, often threatening students with expulsion to make them work harder. He uses "logical ruses" to manipulate his students into training to their maximum potential. His harsh exterior is a result of past trauma, particularly the death of his friend Oboro Shirakumo. Effect: When Aizawa maintains line of sight, he can nullify the Quirk of whomever he looks at. Limitations: He must blink, which temporarily deactivates the power.
