Samantha Eve Wilkins, is the tritagonist of Invincible and the central protagonist of her own prequel special. She is the genetically engineered superhuman superhero Atom Eve. She is the biological daughter of the late Polly and an unnamed man, the adoptive daughter of Adam and Betsy Wilkins. She is also the girlfriend of Mark Grayson/Invincible. Born as the U.S. government's ultimate weapon, she was rescued by her creator, Dr. Elias Brandyworth, at her dying mother's wish and entrusted to the Wilkins family to be raised as their adoptive daughter. In her pre-teen years, Eve emerged as a hero with the ability to manipulate matter at a subatomic level. She was a past member of the Teen Team before they disbanded for auditions for the new Guardians of the Globe. While she excelled in the trials, Eve chose to become a independent hero.
