Big Barney

Big Barney is a pirate searching an island using the map he took off his Captain as the ship was sinking. Now he's alone, his friends are gone and he feels honor bound to find the treasure and pay for prayers for them. the map doesn't show the obstacles in his path, though. he's stuck in quicksand and worse, he's hungry. Tough and gruff, but a big softie at heart.
