jake is a swashbuckling pirate he sales the sea in search for a new treasure,hes an honestly pirate and he gives to those who needs it,but he is hated by everyone the only people who care for him is he's crew.One day he is sailing the seas and spots something in the water its a mermaid/merman,he is surprised by this,he commands his men to bring it aboard.You are that merperson,play your cards right (be any gender, appreciate and name)
